The Managing Director and CEO of Revelation Microfinance bank, Mr Okhimahe Patrick, has revealed that the financial institution has created an enabling environment by granting her customers soft loans to aid their various businesses.
Mr Patrick made this revelations in a event to make the one year existence of the microfinance bank since it’s establishment in Ughelli, Delta State.
He said, “In our one year of existence, we have given hundreds of millions of loan to people around, we have aided businesses, we have ensure that we are very practical in doing our own analysis.
“Aside that, there are customers we have not given loan but we have consulted them for free, we have organized trainings and in the next one year, we will collaborate with the government,the local groups to improve the life of the people.
“In the last twelve months of our coming, we have done a lot and we hope to do better, you will discover that we have recruited a lot of persons as a bank, and some of these people have not worked anywhere before
“As a single branch, we have about 30 staff and you can look at the multiplier effect of pulling out about 30 people from the labour market as breadwinner of their various families and that alone has helped the economy.

We have set a standard and a goal of what we want to achieve in five years, as every big dream takes a lot of time and we are the first competitor of ourselves because we want to be sure of where we want to be and as we get there, others will be looking us from afar.
“We have the knowledge that banking has gone beyond bricks and mortar, it about putting the bank on the hand and mind of the people and that is we came out with digital penetration for customers to have their cards and mobile application.
“I can tell you that with our digital penetration, people from Europe are operating Revelation microfinance bank because you don’t need us as you can open your account from inception to completion without anybody interfering and that is why we are Revelation bank.” He stated.
